Modeling
Workshops - Runway
Fashion Troup
This workshop offers
training for models of all ages. These weekend workshop
intensives run all day Saturday and Sunday. The focus is
upon the "Business of the Business of
Modeling", learning the do's and dont's of modeling
in the various categories and markets (runway, fashion,
lifestyle, commercial print, catalogue, swim wear, and
so forth). The workshops contribute to developing
increased confidence, poise, and self-esteem. |

Make-Up
Training
This is an excellent
class for ages 12 and up. You will learn through
classroom instruction the many shapes of faces, eyes,
chins and lips. Licensed Make-Up Artist will instruct
you on proper application of make-up for your best
finished look. They begin with skin care, proceed with
application and even have an expert teach you nutrition
for healthier skin, hair and body. Occasionally, this
class will also have featured Cosmetic Surgeons and
estheticians as part of their program. This class will
teach you updated techniques you can use on yourself or
others. Many models get their first breaks as make-up
artist. |

Photo
Movement
This fun and exciting
class teaches you to react to the camera using
techniques to bring out your best features and
camouflage others. You will learn to express emotion
comfortably in front of the camera. You will see video
proofs of your simulated photo sessions. You will learn
the what, when and where's of posing in an actual
studio. |

On Camera
Auditioning
This workshop is a
weekend intensive that covers 10 different types of
auditions encountered in television and film. Course
elements include learning name slates, full slates,
character slates, marking, framing, cold readings, hot
readings, audition preparation, reading for commercials,
reading for television and film, monologues,
improvisation, character break downs, voice-over
auditions, auditioning for animation and industry
terminology. Actual auditions are typically done for
current projects at the end of the course. |

Animation
Voice-Over Training
This is a weekend
workshop intensive that teaches techniques for doing
animated voices for cartoon television series, animated
features and commercials. The course is taught by the
head writer of the new animation series Smooze and
Terrible Twos. |

On
Camera Advanced Performance/Scene Studies
This is a weekend
workshop intensive concentrating on scene studies,
character development, improvisation and technique for
serious film television actors who want to improve their
skills. |

On
Camera Private Tutoring
Instead of, or in
addition to, on camera workshops, private one-on-one
tutoring/drama coaching is available. Many students use
this to enhance their skills or to prepare for
auditions. Tutoring is $50 per hour. |

Certified
Stunt Fighting Workshop
Periodically held at
Casting America locations, Jerry Alan, regional
president of the Florida Motion Picture and Television
Association, and a stunt man with over 3 decades in the
business (3 James Bond movies, 39 episodes of
"Bonanza", "Gun Smoke", "Mod
Squad", "Cop and a Half",). Jerry has
performed in numerous other films and television shows,
provides training to enter the stunt world for T.V.,
film, and live action. Call for dates. The single
weekend, 2 day, 16 hour "crash course" cost is
$345 if paid at the door and $295 if prepaid at least 3
days in advance. |
